“Chris is an immensely talented composer – be it for features, commercials or anything in between. He always aims to please and you’ll never meet a nicer guy. Lots of reasons our working relationship has spanned more than a decade.”

Stu Pollard

Chris has an intuitive sense for what fits a scene best. His experience and skillful balance of traditional and outside-the-box techniques sets him apart. To top it off, he’s charming, a great communicator, and easy to work with – highly recommended!

Chris’ talent knows no limit…  He’s composed music from rom-coms to animation to thrillers & action.  He’s one of this first people I call when I get a new project, and an essential person I rely on through to the final mix.”

Bio
Chris Anderson

Chris Anderson is an award-winning composer for film and television based in Los Angeles. Originally from Philadelphia, he first learned piano from his grandmother and composes on that very piano to this day. He went on to study music composition at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA, continuing his focus on film music at the USC graduate film scoring program. Since then he has scored over 60 films, episodic television, documentaries, ad campaigns and fine art installations. His musical palette ranges from orchestral scores to jazz, ambient, modern rock, and cutting-edge electronic soundscapes. Equally at home in front of a piano, a computer, or an orchestra, Anderson is a proven musical chameleon.

Recently, Anderson recorded “the american mosaic – an unsung requiem”, his 30-minute piece for symphony orchestra, as well as "The Lotus Quartet", for string quartet. While actively working with new music ensembles to perform them, he composes for film & TV, new music projects, and recordings of his own.
